About God
We believe in the one, true God who is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They are one Being, one Deity, the co-eternal, co-equal, all powerful Godhead. God is omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient, immutable, immeasurable, sovereign, holy, merciful, self-existent, self-sustaining, infinite, transcendent, and God is love. The Father is not the Son or Spirit. The Son is not the Father or Spirit. The Spirit is not the Father or the Son. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are three eternal, personal, distinctions in the substance of God. God of God, one Being, one Deity. About Jesus
We believe that Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh, the Son of God, the Christ and the author and finisher of our faith. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, death, burial, and resurrection. He is of the same substance as the Father and the Spirit and is the same Deity. During His earthly ministry he accepted worship as God, was comfortable being said to be God, and clearly claimed to be God. We believe at the end of His earthly ministry He ascended to heaven where He is at the right hand of the Father and constantly interceding on our behalf. About the Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit draws people to Jesus, convicts, and regenerates. We believe in the baptism and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit that brings power and boldness in the preaching of the Gospel, revelation and wisdom in reading the Word, love and fear in relationship with the Lord, and deeper fellowship with other believers. We believe not only that the gifts are for today but that all believers should seek and desire to experience and manifest the gifts of the Spirit. About the Bible
We believe that the thirty-nine books of the First Testament and the twenty-seven books of the Second Testament make up the infallible, inerrant Word of God. The Bible is God’s revelation to us of Himself in human words. The Bible is the ultimate and final authority for doctrine, theology, and the way that every believer lives. About Man
We believe that God created man in His image to be in fellowship with Himself and to take great pleasure in intimacy with and knowledge of God. Due to sin, the image of God in man has become distorted and man has become separated from God; thus, we are all born with the likelihood and nature to sin. (Gen. 1:26, Romans 3:23, 5:12, 1 Cor. 15:21-22, Eph. 2:3)
About the Gospel
We believe that the only way to the one true God is by Christ Jesus. Through Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, He has made a way for us to have great pleasure in intimacy with Him and to have knowledge of God. We believe that we are saved by grace through faith and not by our own efforts. We believe that the cross is essential to the Gospel. It shows that God is both just and extremely merciful in that He cannot overlook our sin. He desires for us to be in intimate relationship with Him. About the Church
We believe the church is God’s primary instrument for working in the world. The church is the body and the bride of the Lord Jesus Christ. The church is a holy and consecrated people to be used by God to manifest Jesus on the earth through the love and joy of God, the power and presence of the Holy Spirit, and by honoring people. (Matt. 16:17-19, Eph. 1:22-23, 4:11-16, 5:25-27, 1 Cor. 12:12-14)
About Baptism and The Lord’s Supper
We believe the Christ left two ordinances for His church to partake in and they are Baptism in water and the Lord’s supper.
Baptism is to be by immersion. When the believer is baptized, the old man is buried and arises out of the water to newness of life. We have greater fear of the Lord, greater love for God, and a greater desire to live a holy life. (Matt. 3:16, Mark 16:16, Acts 2:41-42, !8:8, Rom. 6:4, Col. 2:12)
The Lord’s supper is to be taken often in remembrance of Christ and the sacrifice that He made for the church on the cross. The Lord’s supper is to be taken solemnly and with an attitude of celebration because without Christ and His sacrifice we would not receive salvation and forgiveness of sins. (Matt. 26:26-28, 1 Cor. 11:23-29)
